Grove Part 1

It's time for the next set. In celebration of the New World Tartosa, I decided to work on something Mediterranean. This Set is called 'Grove' which is especially connected for me to Olive trees and Date Palm trees:) therefore I will concentrate on the garden and create new plants such as olive trees, oleander, and date Palm Trees. I managed to animate the palms... THEY SWAY IN THE WIND, gosh I'm so excited about that :D.

I also tried something else: when I think of Mediterranean buildings I think of them as somewhat weathered, plastered, and rounded off/ a bit wonky, I mean they are pretty old most of the time. To achieve the look in-game I projected rounded corners onto straight Wallpapers and it worked, If you use these new wallpapers the walls appear rounded off when the light hits them. Sorry for the long explanation, I guess when you see it in-game you will understand better :D The wallpapers have washed gradients on the bottom and the sides, imitating what we had in the Sims 3 French world:)

And there is more. Since forever I am playing around with arches, this time I made them adjustable to any height possible capped at 6m, you will have 2 Moorish arches and two round arches all of which can be combined with a column I additionally created for them ( they also work with the Colonial and Berlin set, the color palette is the same :) )

Furniture wise I concentrated on metal garden furniture from Hay and their Palissade collection, with several pieces of seating on several surfaces and cushions. Plus I added a tent for your terrace or garden, In Marrakech, I saw them quite often on rooftops. I think the tent could be nice for a wedding venue set up too ;)

Omg, I'm so sorry for the long explanation, I had a lot to say this time :D
